We proposed switching from surface painting to In-Mold Decoration (IMD) combined with Electroplating.
1. Â Visual Upgrade: We developed a Matte Gold Plating frame to symbolize premium quality.
2. Â The IMD Advantage: Instead of painting on top, we used IMD to encapsulate the “Signal Red” color *behind* a clear hard-coat layer. This gives the red color a gem-like depth.
3. Â Durability: Because the graphics are inside the molded part, they are impervious to scratching or chemical erosion.
